Your database connections will be made directly from your machines to the database servers, no man in the middle.
Yes, it can work offline, but some features may not be available, such as real-time collaboration and AI assistance (cloud features).
If you choose to store your database credentials in the cloud, they will be encrypted from your machine, then synced to the cloud and other devices. The private key is stored locally on your device. Although it is synced, you will need to share the private key with other devices to decrypt the encrypted credentials.
RawNote is a young project, we fix bugs and add new features every day, then put them together in a new update released at the end of day/week/month. If you want to request a new feature, please submit a request on our issue tracker.
